According to the official notification released by TRAI, the appointment for the post of Advisor (F&EA) will be for 3 years (or until superannuation, whichever is earlier). Their salary for this post is Rs. 144,200–Rs. 218,200 per month.

TRAI Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the above post, candidates should be officers of the central government, public sector, autonomous bodies, and statutory and should hold an equivalent post in level 14 on a regular basis.
OR
Four years of regular service in the Pay Level- 13
OR
Seventeen years of regular service in Group ‘A’ and has held a post of Pay Level-13 for a minimum period of four years.
TRAI Recruitment 2024: Required Qualifications
A Master/ Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/ Economics/ Commerce/ Engineering/ Law/ Science/ Humanities. Or be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India with relevant experience in the field.
Desirable
Graduation/ Post Graduation in economics/statistics.
Experience
The candidate should have working experience in econometric modeling and can use statistical tools to analyze economic regulations, assess regulatory costs, and evaluate tariff issues.
